President

As the chief administrative and presiding officer of the chapter, the president is the chosen and duly-elected volunteer leader and shoulders significant responsibility. Chapter members place a high level of trust in this individual, looking to him or her for leadership, management oversight, and successful implementation of the chapter’s programs. Additional detailed Chapter President responsibilities (PDF) are found here.

Membership Dues Recipient

Another very important position is the chapter membership officer, commonly referred to as the membership dues recipient or MDR, who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the chapter’s membership program. This includes responsibility for maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and complete membership records for all new and renewing members. A description of the MDR’s main duties can be found here (PDF)
