Over the past 100 years, the Izaak Walton League of America has advanced some of the most effective conservation ideas in the nation’s history, shaping what would become the fundamental, bedrock laws and policies that protect our natural resources now and for generations to come.

Poor flood management along the lower Missouri River poses serious threats to public safety. American Rivers and its partners call on states and local governments to coordinate with the affected local communities to reduce flood risk and restore lost habitat.

There will be many opportunities for Congress and the new administration to adopt common-sense conservation policies in 2021.
