Oil City
Nestled on 61 acres of land in beautiful rural western Pennsylvania between Erie and Pittsburgh, the Oil City Chapter has a 35- to 300-yard 8-station rifle range and a 50-yard 8-station pistol range, as well as an indoor .22 range. The chapter hosts some great yearly events. Youth Field Days helps introduce kids to the fun of fishing, shooting, and archery. Hunter-Trapper Education Courses provided by the Pennsylvania Game Commission help qualify first-time hunters for their hunting licenses. We open our range for public sight-in days before hunting season. We also host the Cranberry School District for their Conservation Days.
Your kit will include a bottle containing 25 nitrate test strips which you can use to test your water source(s) throughout the year. You’ll also receive postcards explaining how to use your nitrate test strips and how to share your Nitrate Watch results on the Clean Water Hub.
