Medina

The Medina Chapter was organized in 1951. All of our chapter activities are held on our 75-acre farm. There are two lakes on the grounds: one in the picnic pavilion area; the other is a wetlands lake designed to have a marsh area where we plant various types of grains suitable for wildfowl. We stage a fishing party yearly for the children of the community and their parents, thereby enhancing parent-child relationships. We also participate in the Medina County Earth Day celebrations and Family Affair. We have a trap-shooting range, and members who enjoy the sport have an active and ongoing program. We also have 9 to 10 weeks of turkey shoots in the fall and approximately 5 weeks in the spring. Our members as well as local civic groups camp out on our grounds in the summer.
