Chicago No. 1
Chicago Chapter No 1 is the original chapter where the IWLA was founded on January 14, 1922. Our membership is drawn from several states, with many of our members also belonging to a chapter close to their home towns. We hope to keep the original chapter alive in support of the mission of the Izaak Walton League. We do not own any property. We keep the chapter alive and offer support to the IL Division. We fund Outdoor America subscriptions, provide memberships to IL Division scholarship recipients, support the Illinois Division meetings, participate in league programs., and help with the Illinois Division properties. Membership is open to anyone wishing to support the mission of the Izaak Walton League of America.
Your kit will include a bottle containing 25 nitrate test strips which you can use to test your water source(s) throughout the year. You’ll also receive postcards explaining how to use your nitrate test strips and how to share your Nitrate Watch results on the Clean Water Hub.
Your kit will include four test strips so you can test your waterway throughout the season. You’ll also receive a chart to help you interpret your results and a postcard with instructions for completing a Salt Watch test and reporting your findings.
