Brown County
The members of the Brown County Chapter work hard throughout the year conserving four properties, including Osprey Point (100-acre parcel), Abbey Pond, Reforestation Camp, and a parcel of land at the corner of Bellevue and Allouez Avenues. The chapter works on various restoration projects throughout the year, including invasive species removal, stream improvements, and habitat restoration. The chapter also focuses on reconnecting youth and families with the outdoors. We sponsor regular outdoor recreational opportunities throughout the year for families and the general public, including a Teddy Bear Hunt and Family Conservation Day. The chapter sponsors fishing events throughout the summer for assisted-living centers, retirement homes, and other community organizations.
