National Membership
Want to help find common-sense solutions to today’s environmental problems? Join the League as a national member. In addition to supporting our advocacy and clean water programs, you will receive our quarterly magazine Outdoor America, which has been published since 1922.
Chapter Membership
Prefer to join a place-based conservation community? The League’s 200+ chapters offer opportunities to enjoy outdoor America—and protect it for the enjoyment of others—in the company of friends, family and neighbors. Each of our independently-run chapters manages their own membership process. Contact your local chapter for information on how to join. Available chapter facilities and chapter membership annual dues rates will vary and are set separately.

Life Benefactor Membership
The ultimate in membership support means you never pay national dues again. Includes a pin, decal, permanent membership card, laser-engraved plaque, lifetime subscriptions to Outdoor America, annual reports and a copy of the League’s 100th anniversary history book. Dues: $2,000
Family Life Benefactor Membership
Includes all the benefits of a Life Benefactor membership with the addition of a second adult member. Each adult member receives lifetime membership and magazine subscription, a pin and permanent membership card. Please enter the names of both family members. Dues: $2,500
Your kit will include a bottle containing 25 nitrate test strips which you can use to test your water source(s) throughout the year. You’ll also receive postcards explaining how to use your nitrate test strips and how to share your Nitrate Watch results on the Clean Water Hub.
Your kit will include four test strips so you can test your waterway throughout the season. You’ll also receive a chart to help you interpret your results and a postcard with instructions for completing a Salt Watch test and reporting your findings.
