Suffolk-Nansemond

The Suffolk-Nansemond Chapter, chartered in 1954, supports many environmental issues and promotes the conservation of natural resources, particularly in the nearby Great Dismal Swamp. We maintain a 38-acre park (located at 480 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23424) with a 3-acre bass pond, and 100-yard sanctioned rifle shooting range. There are pavilions, picnic tables, a boat dock, benches, and bird houses throughout our park land — built by local Boy Scouts as Eagle Scout projects.
