Seward County
The chapter hosts a Youth Outdoor Skills Day in conjunction with Nebraska Game & Parks Commission, offering rifle, muzzleloader, archery, and shotgun training/practice. The chapter also co-sponsors the annual Seward Fishing Clinic with local nonprofits and the parks and recreation department. We host an annual gun show at the Seward County Ag Pavilion attended by firearms dealers from all over the state, who provide opportunities for customers to buy or trade, and an annual soup supper at the Civic Center. Chapter facilities include a range for target shooting and sighting and a cabin that can be rented by members and non-members. The Seward County Chapter built and ran the Seward Recycling Center before donating the facility to the city.
Your kit will include a bottle containing 25 nitrate test strips which you can use to test your water source(s) throughout the year. You’ll also receive postcards explaining how to use your nitrate test strips and how to share your Nitrate Watch results on the Clean Water Hub.
Your kit will include four test strips so you can test your waterway throughout the season. You’ll also receive a chart to help you interpret your results and a postcard with instructions for completing a Salt Watch test and reporting your findings.
