Rockville

The Rockville Chapter, located in Germantown, MD, sits on 52 wooded acres with a 4-acre fishing lake, nature trails, and picnic areas. We are a group of men and women committed to conserving our natural heritage and promoting outdoor recreation. We focus on giving young people the opportunity to learn about conservation, and the importance of conservation to our nation’s future, and to outdoor activities such as fishing, shooting, archery, and camping. Activities tailored to our general membership include indoor and outdoor pistol leagues, rifle league, black powder league, and fly tying/fishing. We have pistol, rifle, and trap ranges as well as a standing archery range and 3-D archery in the woods during the summer. We conduct conservation training, firearms safety training, and provide local students an opportunity to participate in hands-on conservation activity, and we offer scholarships to young people pursuing training in conservation and environmental studies. Check out our Web site for more detailed information or call our Membership Secretary, Judy Danish, at (301) 916-9191.
