SUMMARY:Virginia Save Our Streams Field Certification
DESCRIPTION:This event serves as the field training requirement for becoming a certified Virginia Save Our Streams monitor. Prior to this event\, you must complete the online portion of the certification\, including watching webinars and passing a macroinvertebrate identification quiz. Alternatively\, Friends of the North Fork is offering an opportunity to complete these components in-person on July 11 from 10am-1pm (a week before the field event). \n  \nThis event is hosted by the Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Register for the classroom and/or field training here (Save Our Streams BMI Monitoring Training under “Educational Workshops”).
