Who We Are

We are a chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, a national non-profit focused on conservation and outdoor recreation. Chartered in 1978, we offer facilities for shooting sports, archery  and member usage. You'll find our members out and about in the community, distributing tree saplings, releasing pheasants, cleaning up roadside litter, taking youth fishing, trap shooting, teaching kids to hunt, archery shooting, and monitoring water quality in local streams.

Mission Statement

"To conserve, restore, and promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of our natural resources, including soil, air, woods, waters, and wildlife. "

Member Pledge

"To strive for the purity of water, the clarity of air, and the wise stewardship of the land and its resources; to know the beauty and understanding of nature, and the value of wildlife, woodlands, and open spaces; to the preservation of its heritage and to man's sharing in it."
