Making a planned gift to the League is easy and allows you to leave a lasting legacy. You determine an amount, percentage, or specific assets (real or personal) you wish to give from your estate. You can use the following sample bequest language in your will:

I hereby give and bequeath ______ (the sum of $___, or a specific asset, or ___% of my estate, or all of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wherever situated, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my death) to the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA), a nonprofit membership organization incorporated by the laws of the State of Illinois, having as its principle address 707 Conservation Lane, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878-2983, and its general purposes.

For planned gifts to the Izaak Walton League Trust, use the following language in your will:

I hereby give and bequeath ______ (the sum of $___, or a specific asset, or ___% of my estate, or all of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wherever situated, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my death) to the Izaak Walton League Trust, a nonprofit organization incorporated by the laws of the State of Illinois, having as its principle address 707 Conservation Lane, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878-2983, and its general purposes.

You should consult with your legal and financial advisors when considering any planned gift.
