Minnesota Farm Bill Forum

We invite you to join Minnesota conservation and agricultural leaders on Monday, August 22nd as we discuss the upcoming 2012 Farm Bill and what it means for Minnesota’s water, wildlife, and farmlands. The last Farm Billthe Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008carried a price tag of $288 billion. In today’s tough economic times, funding for the Farm Bill will be under increased scrutiny, which underscores the importance of public involvement at these initial stages.

The forum will be held from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Dakota Lodge in West Saint Paul. Featured speakers include representatives from state agencies, Izaak Walton League of America, and Minnesota Conservation Federation.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided free of charge; however, an RSVP is required at http://farmbill.eventbrite.com.
